Read MoreAfter a few years of dissatisfaction with my old website, I’ve done a bit of a renovation. If you visited my website back in 2017 you’ll remember that I initially started it as a means to do two things at once: share my writings for National Poetry Writing Month (aka NaPoWriMo), and get round to actually having a permanent, single base to share my work and update people as to what I was up to.
The former went well, the second, not so much. Of course, perfectionism got in the way and I just didn’t think I got it quite right. After some time, however, I felt it had served its purpose and was in need of a revamp. Fast forward to family death, clinical depression, completion of actor training, a failed relationship and a global panorama later, and it’s here.
I also opened the previous blog with a promise to myself to remove the scaffolding and update the blog every now and then. That did not go to plan. This time I will end on a promise to not make promises, just do or don’t do. Not everything requires a gesture or a statement.
I’ll be keeping my journals private, unless I feel it might be of benefit to the peopledem or responding to something I’ve already commented on.
You can still find the old NaPoWriMo blog page here
Here’s a gif I like:
